Government & Military Facility Floor Coatings
Floor coatings for installations, federal buildings, and defense facilities. Made in the USA, non-toxic and zero-VOC for occupied spaces, and back in service in 24 hours.
What Federal Facility Floors Have to Answer To
Federal work does not run like a commercial job. Access is controlled, the documentation is heavier, the specification is written before anyone walks the site, and the building usually cannot stop operating while the work happens. The floor itself has to satisfy several standards at once: life safety, occupant health, chemical exposure, and in many cases food service. We coat maintenance and industrial spaces, hangars, and dining facilities with the same system. Here is what the specification usually has to cover.
- Occupied Buildings → Work has to happen around people, often in phases. A coating that off-gasses for days is not viable in a barracks, an admin building, or a medical space.
- Mission Continuity → A motor pool or maintenance bay out of service is a capability out of service. Return-to-service time is part of the specification, not an afterthought.
- Life Safety Compliance → Flame spread ratings are scrutinized closely in federal buildings, and a floor finish is part of that review.
- Chemical Exposure → Motor pools, hangars, and maintenance facilities see fuels, hydraulic fluid, solvents, and de-icers that destroy ordinary finishes.
- Domestic Sourcing → Procurement rules frequently require American-made materials, which narrows the field before performance is even discussed.
- Documented Performance → Specifications call for tested values, not claims. Adhesion, elongation, flame spread, VOC content, and abrasion all have to be on paper.

Built for Federal Specifications
Made in the USA
Manufactured domestically from sustainable gypsum and castor oil, which matters where procurement rules require American-made materials.
Zero-VOC and Non-Toxic
A zero-VOC basecoat with no odor, so installation proceeds in occupied buildings without evacuating personnel or ventilating for days. Also BPA-free.
Back in Service in 24 Hours
Most floors are a one-day install and are ready for full use in 24 hours, so a bay, hangar, or corridor returns to operation rather than sitting idle through a cure.
Class "A" Fire Rated
Non-combustible with a Class "A" flame spread rating, which simplifies life safety review in federal buildings.
NSF-61 Certified for Food Service
Installed at the armory at Hurlburt Field, at Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico, and at the United States Military Academy at West Point, across both Air Force and Army facilities.
Documented Test Values
100% adhesion, 120% elongation, compatibility with 350 chemicals, and tested abrasion resistance, supplied as data for the submittal rather than as marketing copy.
How We Work On Site
Access and Scheduling
We plan around facility operations, including phased work in occupied buildings and scheduling that accommodates access requirements.

Surface Preparation
Concrete is cleaned and prepared for a full bond. Most floors need only a broom-sweep prep, though some require mild grinding or sanding.
Return to Service
Floors are ready for full use in 24 hours, with no odor and no extended cure holding up the space.

Commercial Case Studies
Low Burden on Facilities Staff
Simple Cleaning
Warm water and a mop. No stripping, waxing, or resealing cycle to schedule and budget for.
Chemical Resistant
Compatible with 350 chemicals, covering the fuels, hydraulic fluid, solvents, and de-icers found across motor pools and maintenance facilities.
Repairs Without Full Shutdown
The coating bonds to itself, so a damaged section is repaired in place and blends in rather than requiring a wider area to be taken offline.
Abrasion Resistant
Tested at 28 mg loss under Taber abrasion, so equipment and vehicle routes hold up instead of wearing through to bare concrete.
Seamless and Non-Porous
No grout lines or seams to trap contaminants, which matters in food service, medical, and any space subject to sanitation standards.
Holds Its Finish
UV stable with a 90+ gloss, so appearance holds through inspection cycles without refinishing.
Our Heroic 5-Star Reviews
Floor Coating Color Samples
Choose from a selection of solid colors or customize with your choice of colored flakes to match your home’s style.

Commercial Color Options
Heavy-duty and food-grade facilities typically specify flat solid colors for easy inspection and a clean, uniform finish.

Quartz Color Options
For driveways, patios and other high-traffic surfaces we broadcast quartz to full rejection over a base coat — a finish tough enough for snowplows, RV weight and grill heat, and easily matched to your existing concrete.

Built Tough By Mother Nature.Common Questions
Yes. Our coatings have been installed at federal and military sites including the armory at Hurlburt Field, Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico, and the United States Military Academy at West Point. We can provide past performance details relevant to your project on request.
Yes. The basecoat is zero-VOC and odor-free, so there is no solvent smell reaching adjacent spaces and no need to evacuate. Work can be phased around operations, and floors are ready for full use in 24 hours.
Motor pools, maintenance bays, hangars, warehouses, dining facilities and galleys, medical and administrative buildings, barracks, corridors, and mechanical spaces. The same system covers all of them, which keeps the specification simple.
Yes. The coating is manufactured in the USA from sustainable gypsum and castor oil, and it is BPA-free and non-toxic.
Yes. Tested values for adhesion, elongation, flame spread, VOC content, abrasion, and chemical compatibility are available for the submittal package.
Epoxy is rigid and micro-cracks when a slab flexes or takes impact, and it off-gasses during cure, which rules it out of many occupied spaces. Our coating stays permanently flexible at 120% elongation, is zero-VOC and odor-free in the basecoat, carries a Class "A" fire rating, and re-bonds to itself so repairs do not require taking a wider area offline.
